I was listening on Gameday audio when i heard Pat say "THAT BALL IS DRIVEN..." after I heard Ron starting to scream in the background, i dropped my headphones and yelled to the crowd of cubicles "RAMIREZ WALKOFF CUBS WIN" as the entire office started to rumble

Awesome

I probably didn't describe it as well as I could have. The whole process of dropping my headphones to the floor and yelling to the entire office was just all emotions, one of those things that I didn't have time to think about, I just did it.

Myself and the other Cub fan in the office were huddled around my computer and pretty much had a similar uncontrollable outburst.

Cubs win this game.

I'm reposting this until someone acknowledges my amazing skills.

I would like to retract my vote in the NSBB poll and change it to you. You, sir, are amazing.

That part of it was kind of rhetorical. I pretty much just wanted to tell the story about the evil hat.

When Lee was up to bat, I said, out loud, "OK God, if the Cubs win this, I promise I will go to the church down the street every week so long as I live here."

Well played, God. Well played...

Yea, that was celebration, not showboating, though admittedly, I haven't seen it so I'm talking out my arse right now. Given the situation, unless ARam was pointing and laughing, the Brewers probably shouldn't take it as anything but a celebration following an unbelievably exciting moment.

It wasn't even celebration. He was hopping sideways hoping to see it leave the park. It was pre-celebratory excitement that he may have just hit a walk off home run.

Ok I have a question...

I accidentally trashed my good Cubs hat (motorcycle + thunderstorm = bad) last thursday on my way home from work. Since then they've run off 7 in a row. Was that some sort of evil reverse-lucky hat, and do I have to wait until the streak breaks to go buy a new one?

YES What ever you do, LEAVE THAT HAT ALONE, MISTER

I would just like to acknowledge that I am gleefully - GLEEFULLY - eating crow for what I said back in the 1st inning about the Cubs series/season being over.

GO CUBS GO! :D

I can't remember the last time it's been this fun to be a Cubs fan.

My sentiments exactly.

I can... today felt like late Sept. 2003.

Seriously. If you don't hold up your end, and the Cubs don't win the World Series, we'll know why.

Before the homer my wife asked if i wanted to go out to eat. i said give me a while because i ate a crap load of ice cream and my stomach is bloated. after the homer i ran to fridge and grabbed a beer. my belly feels great!

I liked this better the first time, when you grabbed a bear out of the fridge.
