Certain pitchers are the way they are. Some pitchers wont get a lot of K's, some will, I don't know if you could modify Z's skills for him to become a completely different pitcher.

 

I'm fine with him and his consistent ~3.5ish ERA.

Id agree with the pitching to contact if Z had the command of Maddux but he can be very wild and that would hurt him

That last batter was a good example. He worked it to a 3-2 count, by trying to hit those corners, instead of maybe throwing him a fastball when its 2-2, and getting him to bite.

 

I don't know, a guy like sheets gets his K's, but he never walks people. I think he might have a better approach then Z.
