After a tough loss in the season opening series to the Reds, the Cubs look to change their luck around with a 3 game series against Milwaukee at Wrigley Field North. With Hill, Miller, and Zambrano going this weekend, 2 out of 3 is a must.

Hopefully our bats wake up in this series as well. Barrett really needs to have a good game to get him out of his funk and to get his confidence up.

I know..Its just probably because of the loss today and going 1-2..If we were 2-1 I'd probably say bring on whoever. I just want a winning record.Really wouldve liked to win the opening series.

It bothers me that Hill hasn't been able to get consistent work leading into his first start of the season. He was cheated out of a few innings in the CL and his last few throwing sessions have been shortened because of blister problems. I hope he has the stamina to pitch at least 6 innings.

I know a few people have mentioned that the roof was broken, though it doesn't really make sense to me that if broken, they would have left it open all winter. I'm guessing the bad boy is going to be closed tomorrow, broken or not.

 

I predict a decent, but not great, outing by Hill, and hopefully some better matchup choices by Sweet Lou.
