Executed.

We need something worse than that.

You're right. Here's a start.

I like him...always got the screw under Ty (big shock). Julius Jones has two fantastic moments in his career - one I slept through (the above - damn you tryptophane), and the other I couldn't appreciate because he ripped up my team for 190 yards, ultimately costing us the NFC South title. Not cool.

I really think he'll bust out this year. He has already admitted that under BP he ran like a robot. Dallas will be using the FB quite a bit more this year which should help him out. We've also really improved our OL, and I think that he'll be allowed to run outside more than he has in the past which is where he's at his best. The NFC had better look out for the 2-headed monster known as JJ and MBIII.

look like hunter hillenmeyer is getting held like it's nobody's business.

When you see the play at full speed he isn't being held. You are only seeing the left arm/shoulder of the blocker, he is headed in the opposite direction as JJ and is tackling Hillenmeyer more than he is holding him.

Wow, the first time they wore the Orange Alternates there were many many significant differences between the numerals and other parts of the uniform than with the 2005 and 2006 versions.

I'm going to unhijack this thread. I went out to dinner last night so I had to tape the Cubs game. There is nothing better than not knowing the outcome of a game and watching it with no commercials. Especially when the innings keep flying by and you have a guy throwing a no hitter. I was flying through that game anxiously awaiting to see how well Hill through in the next frame.

That first strike out pitch to Richie Weeks was a thing of beauty. I was telling the wife when he had Weeks 0-2 "here comes the filthy nasty."

Sure enough, the bottom dropped out and Weeks flailed away at thin air.

She has a whole new respect for Hill's breaking ball now.

Just for yucks, I was reading a preview of the Astros/Cubs series on Chron.com and I came across a horrible recap of Hill's game against the Brewers:

Ronny became Roger

...Roger Cedeno added a solo bomb in the eighth for the Cubs, who scored six runs in the first inning.

This is all false: DeRosa had a 2 run homer and Izturis didn't have an RBI in the game.

Michael Barrett kept the rally going with a single to center field scoring another run before DeRosa's homer put the Cubs up 5-0.

Cezar Izturis knocked in Chicago's sixth run of the frame with a double to right field

Don't they have an editor?

Floyd's double in the seventh knocked in Jacques Jones

The 's' in Jacque could be a simple mistake somebody would make. But there is no reason a writer covering professional baseball games in which they provide you with every stat you need should make mistakes like this. It's one thing if you're at a high school game taking down your own stats and notes and you incorrectly identify somebody (and even then you can ask the coach for clarification). But at a professional baseball game? Please. This is just horrible journalism.
