I'm glad Tony did what he did. I live in central MO and just found out about this. I looked at Friday's paper and it just ticked me off. Even if La Russa thinks his team is better than the Cubs, which I'm sure he does and its true the cards are better, he keeps it to himself. However the rest of Missouri feels they must continue the tirade against the Cubs even when they (the cards) won last year and we haven't won in 99 years. Yeah it's rivalry but you have to show good sportsmanship about it. And putting garbage into the post dispatch shows the type of fan base you have. IMO it's the only thing keeping them from being one of the best baseball communities in the US.

Oh please Miller be good. I don't know how much I like Guzman in the rotation as of yet.

If this newly revamped offense can return to Wrigley with a 4-2 record after a 6 game road trip I don't think the Astros would have a prayer. Opening day at Wrigley is going 2 be very exciting.

Miller has had a pretty good history at Miller Field but I'd probably have to say 5IP 3R maybe 6IP. Least our bullpen hasn't had to work much incase he gets into trouble.

The only positive thing in that game is that I started Wainwright on my fantasy team tonight. The home team going 0-4 is positive on my end. The only bad thing is that I see the Cardinals as more of a threat than the Astros. Too bad they can't both lose when playing each other. The Cardinals struggled to score while facing Wandy in the Juice Box. I'm not sure they're going to be much to worry about. Oh you know that last year we would have been screwed to in that position.

That usually happens when a team finds its offense. And when you have confidence in your pitcher. I was always worried about Marquis yesterday.
