I'm not a huge McRoberts fan, but I think he can be a Troy Murphy type player in the NBA. Not a star, but I think he could be a 12-14 PPG scorer who gets 8 rebounds as a role player.

which would make him redundant on the Bulls, as we already have Noc filling that role

An excellent point if Nocioni were 6-10.

And if Noc was a flopper who constantly whined to the refs.

Are you referring to Murphy or McRoberts? Either way, Nocioni mastered flopping long ago.

He is Argentinian.

Is that supposed to be a shot at Ginobli as well?

Is that supposed to be a shot at Ginobli as well?

Argentinian soccer players, but it applies to Ginobili.

Diego Simeone acted like a sniper put a bullet in his back when Beckham nudged him in 1998.

But no one dives like an Italian soccer player.

I knew the soccer fans would get the joke.

For the most part, all South American teams have mastered the art of diving.

Lawrence Journal-World[/url]"]It looks as if Kansas University basketball sophomore Julian Wright has had a sudden change of heart regarding the NBA Draft.

KU coach Bill Self on Sunday told the Journal-World that Wright, who has repeatedly said he'd be back for his junior season, "will strongly consider his options regarding the draft. We expect he'll have a decision at the first of the week. At that time we'll have a formal announcement."

Sources close to the situation told the Journal-World that as of Sunday, Wright had made up his mind to leave KU.

Sources say Self learned early in the week that Wright had completely changed his stance on the NBA and told the coach he'd likely be leaving instead of returning to complete his junior year and graduate in three years.

Sources say the two agreed to meet again upon Self's return from a recruiting trip Monday.

It's believed some individuals close to Wright indicated to him that with his being projected as a lottery pick, he would not be able to help himself by staying at KU, thus his sudden change of heart to leave.

Self would only say that he would meet with Wright upon returning from his recruiting trip and an announcement would be made early in the week, likely Monday.

Self said there was no change in the status of KU's other players considering the NBA. Brandon Rush is considering his options, seeing which players decide to enter the draft and where he'd be selected. No other players have hinted at any plans of leaving.

Yes, go away Julian Wright. GO AWAY

Still loaded with Rush, Chalmers, and Collins.

No doubt, but Wright is easily the most frightening matchup.

i think we'd be better off w/o wright than rush. but i think wright would be better served staying more than rush. hard to blame wright for leaving if he does. he can finish that degree whenever.

That's not surprising. I know Wright consistently said he'd return, but he's likely to be a top 5 or 6 pick. Wright is a very skilled and athletic guy for his size. Rush is likely to leave, too. Kansas was likely to start preseason #1 or 2, but if they lose both Wright and Rush that's a lot to replace. They'll likely still be very good, probably top-10 good, but not one of the national favorites.

if we keep rush, we still have a chance. w/o him, we're top 10 at best.

Agreed. Kansas should be strong regardless, I just meant losing Wright (and potentially Rush too) takes them from at worst one of the top-3 teams and favorites for the Final Four to just another good team.

Rumor is that Collins just had a kid in Chicago, and will be looking to transfer to DePaul... Please be true!! :)
