Here at Marquette this is big news, but doesn't seem to get much attention. My guess is because it's more an exploratory move, but Dominic James declared without an agent. My guess is he comes back. He's an exciting player to watch, but frankly I can't see him having too much success as a pro.

So who's going to be the favorite in the Big 12 next year? Texas is losing Durant. aTm is losing Law. Kansas is losing Wright and Rush. Looks like a down year for sure for the conference.

If Kansas State can keep Bill Walker and Michael Beasley onboard after the recent coaching shenanigans, then they'll probably be the favorites in the Big 12.

So Snood I am assuming here

PG Collins

G Robinson

G Chalmers

PF Arthur

C Alrdrich-Kaun

You are still a top ten team.

that's what i'm assuming. more like top 15 imo. Kind of sad. that's the thing about getting great players. Better chance to win it all, but the window is much shorter due to early entry. Bill better get cracking on that 08 class.

Should still be Kansas. Though you're right, won't be a great Big 12.

He's got a chance to be a decent pro. Still upset he's not at Indiana.

Texas and KU will be the favorites in the Big 12. KSU and aTm lose too much to graduation and departing coaches.

On a homeriffic note, Mizzou returns everybody and adds DeMarre Carroll, but I doubt that's enough to challenge for the overall title, although I think they'll be capable of knocking off anyone in the conference.

Did you not see the 5 mcdaa's that kansas has coming back? If that is a down year we should all have one. KU wins the conference again.

I didn't necessarily say Kansas specifically was in a down year but the conference as a whole. If Kansas is the only good team and the rest of the conferences stinks, that still counts as a down year for the Big 12, right?

Oh gotcha, yeah that makes sense. Although KState and the Texas schools should all be pretty good.

Spencer Hawes claims it's 50-50 he'll return to Washington...hope he stays in the draft (though I wouldn't mind him returning to Washington to keep the Pac-10 strong), would love to nab him at 9.
