HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well guys, I might be gone a while. I think I too might have to put my name in the draft. Hell I got as good a shot as Shaun Pruitt at getting drafted.

Oh wow. I'm sure he'll be back, but that would be a big blow. Curious decision.

Well it actually makes sense. If you haven't tested the waters and you are a junior you should declare. You get to see where you stand and what you need to work on. Plus it is a reality check for a lot of these guys. Might make Shaun appreciate that last year a little more once he finds out his NBA future isn't all that bright.

Yeah, you can only do it once, so you might as well if you're a junior, I guess. There's always a chance you could have great draft camps and be picked somewhere. However, it takes time away from team oriented things he could be doing at Illinois. Personally, I think he'd be better off staying in C-U over the summer and working with the team. Oh well.

Hell with the year our team had off the court. I want them all to go home and stay away from each other.

Roger Powell Jr. did the same thing before his senior year. No, he wasn't going to get drafted, but it got his name out there. I don't think Pruitt is really going to leave unless he plays out of his mind at a draft camp.

Oden will enter the NBA draft according to Andy Katz.

As did Mike Conley, Jr.

Cook will go pro also.

Wasn't this all reported like a week ago, or was that just rumored?

It was reported, then everyone took it back because they realized the players hadn't completely decided.

DraftExpress[/url]"]Rush Declaring on Friday

Brandon Rush will be announcing his intentions to enter the draft at a press conference on Friday, a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to DraftExpress on Tuesday. Rush will preserve his NCAA eligibility by not hiring an agent at this time, and will be waiting to see whether he is projected as a top-20 pick before he decides whether to keep his name in the draft. Rush will be meeting with Kansas’ coaching staff tomorrow (Wednesday) to inform them of his decision.

It’s possible that this report could set things into gear a little earlier, causing the press conference to be bumped up to Thursday.

i do think he'll declare, though. he's a guy who might benefit from waiting for a thinner draft, however.

What year would that be? Since next year the draft will be just as big. Especially with guards and forwards.

is it just me, or are there about 100 players in the pool for a 60ish player draft?

Yeah it is always that way. Then the 70th best guy wonders why he didn't get picked.

Bittersweet for me. Good that a player of his caliber isn't on my rival anymore, but no more chance to make him a whipping boy when they come to Columbia. Good luck Brandon, thanks for passing up that game winning jumper two years ago.

So Snood I am assuming here

PG Collins

G Robinson

G Chalmers

PF Arthur

C Alrdrich-Kaun

You are still a top ten team.

that's what i'm assuming. more like top 15 imo. Kind of sad. that's the thing about getting great players. Better chance to win it all, but the window is much shorter due to early entry. Bill better get cracking on that 08 class.

So who's going to be the favorite in the Big 12 next year? Texas is losing Durant. aTm is losing Law. Kansas is losing Wright and Rush. Looks like a down year for sure for the conference.
