Oh well. Rex had 2 bad throws, played ok other than that, but the Colts were better tonight.

Hopefully the media and fans don't cricify Rex and he comes back next season better for this performance.

Oh, they'll crucify him and run him out of town.

They'll see this as vindication.

Most of the media and Bears fans are morons, so I doubt they'll look at it objectively. He had a bad game, he's had several of them and several great games, enough glimpses of great games to merit seeing what he can do with more experience.

He played terribly in the Super Bowl after whining about being criticized.

Believe this like you believe in life itself: Rex is about to be crucified to all hell.

Hell would seem pleasant compared to what's coming.

They sure love using Clark when it doesnt matter.

This is the same Ron Turner who guided my beloved UofI to a 1-11 record.

Turner absolutely sucked tonight, but so did nearly every other facet of their game.

I feel bad for him. He's not going to deserve the firestorm he's going to get.

He has every right to the call media ignorant, he was more correct about that than they have been about him.

It doesn't matter. This is their proof that Rex should shut up and take all the criticism until his head explodes.

To be honest, I'm not sure Grossman survives this. I know it's the Super Bowl and all, but he's going to have reporters crawling up his ass until he can't see straight now.

He stood up and took the criticism all freaking year, I don't think too many people in the world could go as long he did without snapping.

To be honest this is my worst nightmare. I knew the Colts were the more experienced playoff club coming in. The last thing I wanted was a Rex implosion that could carry over to next year and beyond.

Now all the good things Rex accomplished this year will be forgotten.

Who is NSBB's official scapegoat for this travesty?

Turner, Rivera, Benson's injury, the offensive line, Grossman, the whole bloody defense.

I find it hard to fault the defense too much considering they spent the whole game on the field. The defensive play calling was too soft, but they were doing a good job of keeping Manning & Co. in check (outside of Harris' brain fart) until they just go tired. That trend can be traced back into the regular season as well.

I need someone to vent my anger towards on the Bears.

My scapegoat is Ron Turner.

I'm sure you could trace the blame back to Neifi Perez somehow.

This is part of the progression, the Bears are still a young team with a 2nd yr. QB worth of exper., hopefully Benson will be healthy and Briggs will be back. They need a CB to shift Tillman at safety or another S in the 1st, HB in the 2nd if they lose Jones, and some OL depth.

There surely were some Cubs/Bear fans at the game who also went all the way to Miami for NLCS Game 5 in 2003. Those folks must want to torch that stadium.

That may be true, but there's more ahead than there is behind, you can believe that. Everyone has a breaking point.

And it's not his breaking point that is the biggest issue here, it's that of the management.

It was all on the offense tonight, no defense is going to stand up when it spends as much time on the field as the Bears defense did.
