Bears Pro Bowl defensive tackle Tommie Harris underwent an MRI on his injured left knee Monday morning. While the exact extent of injury was not available, "this isn't a season-ending injury by any means," coach Lovie Smith said.

"We don't know exactly how long he'll be out but he has a sprained knee."

The Bears have to win. I can't deal with Rams fans if they beat the Bears. I could go to the game, but I have a big final the next day.

We're going to be pretty thin on defense next week if Harris and Vasher are both out.

I wonder who will play nickel, assuming RMJ slips in as starting CB. Oh wait no I don't----it will be Hester. Bulger better hope Devin doesn't get his hands on a pass. Instant TD.

I'm pretty sure it will be Tank Johnson and Ian Scott starting at DT, which I think is alright. Ian Scott is better than he gets credit for---just not spectacular like Tommie.

I think it's awesome this game is on Monday. My Vikings fan friend who lost the bet will have to wear my Urlacher jersey and Bears face paint that Monday night. Didn't know the Bears were actually playing that night, which makes it even more awesome!

Ian Scott was horrible yesterday. Constantly got his shoulders turned by the O-line. He's been decent this year, but not so much recently. I've been impressed with Tank, though.

Harris is probably the least replaceable part of the defense. Another DB out could be disasterous.

This is the perfect defense for Rex to play smart and get off the shnide in. Terrible D-Line for Benson and Jones to run it up on and then when we load the box to stop the run, our corners can't hang one-on-one. If Turner calls a smart game, the Bears could score a lot of points. That could be important with no Tommy Harris, possible no Vasher and the fact that Steven Jackson is the best back in the NFC.

Jon I had a bit of trouble downloading that Minnesota game from YouTube, can you post it again or maybe host it somewhere?

"I've seen Rex play well. And that's what you have to go on. We have a lot of football left to go, we're just getting ready to start the last quarter of the season," Smith said. "I think he will get back to that point."

I know I'm waffling back and forth on this, but if Lovie's reason for leaving Rex in there is that he thinks Rex can get it turned around, I'm ok with that. Lovie has a history of not being hesitant to make a change when necessary, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt here.

Go Rams!

i figured rams fans would've given up after getting embarrassed at home by the Cardinals. I think the Rams have quit.

I don't know how the Rams will respond to Bulger's comments.

I can never gage a team's response to something like that. Personally, that sounds to me like a team that's finished. But just when I think that, a team will respond and come out gangbusters.

The interesting thing is, with Carolina's bad, bad loss last night the Rams are still in this thing. They have something to play for.

Man am I sick of hearing how good the Cowboys are. They needed a last second field goal to beat the Giants...a team the Bears beat by 18 a few weeks ago.
