Who cares if the Cards win it? Maybe it's being in Chicago, but the only time I deal with Cards fans is at Wrigley and I doubt I'll get there next year anyways.

I care.

Seconded.

Red Sox, White Sox, Cardinals......it just gets worse and worse.

Next year can't get any worse.

I know we cannot think of anything worse, but something will happen to make it worse.

Since you posted this I have been sitting here trying to think of some way for ti to be worse than this next year. I came up with nothing.

I was thinking too...probably this:

Mets for some reason move to the AL this offseason. The Cubs as expected fail to win 60 games. Your ALCS in 2007 is White Sox vs. Mets. Your NLCS is Cardinals vs. Astros. (Astros beat the Marlins, Cardinals beat the Padres). The World Series is Cardinals vs. White Sox. In game 7, tied 3-3 in the 9th, all of the players on both sides of the field decide to call the series a draw, take the Red Line up to Wrigleyville and storm the neighborhood pilaging everything including Wrigley Field. George Bush is impeached (the only good thing here) and an emergency election is held. Steve Bartman and Alex Gonzalez run on the presidential ticket and win, with their first act being to disband the Chicago Cubs.

We can make money off this guys. Lets convince other teams that they too can win the world series by agreeing to be our new "rivals" I am sure the Rockies or Nationals would bite.

They deserved it, they played better than Detroit, which is all that matters.

And the Tigers did all they could to just give the Cardinals the series.

Inge's at-bat was a model of impatience.

I wouldn't call it a model. He swung at a ball, then looked at a strike, than swung at a strike. He shouldn't have swung at the first pitch-but he shouldn't have looked at the second pitch either.

Defensively they were horrible and they should fire their hitting coach for Detroit's approach the entire series. Have your hitters sit dead red and get burned by breaking pitches.

i am sure anaheim loves watchign the younger weaver rocking all cardinal gear. although they seem to give them a lot of their good players, so maybe they don't care.
