To me, the power arms of the Tigers is the difference in the series. As far as setting up the pitching match-ups...

Tigers can go either way, the Cards have a more difficult job of penciling their rotation to the benefit.

IMO, the Cards would be better throwing Weaver and Carpenter on 3 days rest skipping a Reyes vs. Rogers as the likely Game 1 matchup.

The main reason why the Cards rec'd good results from avg. pitchers was their ability to throw strikes and get ahead and more importantly, the Mets had an awful approach at the plate all series.

Tigers in Three.

After three consecutive blow out losses, instead of showing up for game four, the Cards head to the Landing to celebrate making it to the World Series and to bid farewell to Edmonds, Suppan, etc.

I agree that this series "won't be close" at all. I hate to use this term but the Tigers seem to me like they are truly a "team of destiny." Which is funny cause the Cards have used the ole "lightning in the bottle" strategy to reach the series. Man, the Cards are going to be embarrass so bad, it ain't funny.

oh good, they are using random strike zone for the world series too.

Leyland played with fire in going after pujols with 2 outs and firstbase open. He played with fire and got burnt. You dont F with Pujols in a series of this magnitude. That 2 runs is huge.

I'm not sure that really shows revenue sharing is "wokring" TIm. Perhaps some teams are just run better than others.

it has been since the game started so you can take your smugness elsewhere. for my part, I couldn't care less if the cardinals win or lose.
