Sigh. NU down 23-11 at Michigan State. They're shooting 29.4% with 0 FT attempts while Michigan State is shooting 60% and 10 of 14 at the FT line.

Indiana with back to back blowout wins-I almost cannot remember the last time this has happened. This time it is 85-58 over Purdue. This team seems to be getting better and better as the season goes along, and a favorable Big 10 schedule will make it even better for them.

Amazing shooting night, combined with usual great defense = IU 85-58 win over PurDON'T.

Wow! What a butt whoopin that was. AJ Ratliff coming off of torn ligaments in his wrist has the best shooting game of his life 6-6, 4-4 from 3. The freshmen Shaw and Bassett are not afraid of the Big Ten at all.

SIU turned the ball over 20 times and lost 48-46. It was a tie game, but Bradley hit a shot with 5 tenths of a second left to win it. SIU falls to 12-4 and 3-2 in conference play. It doesn't get any easier as we have to play a red-hot Missouri State team on Saturday at Carbondale.

I thought IU didn't have an offense?

Looks like Oklahoma State failed to realize that there is a basketball game to be played at Lawrence.

They're getting dominated at all aspects of the game.

78-48 with 5 minutes to go in the 2nd half.

My goodness, Border War part I on Monday does not look promising.

Mizzou played a much better second half(outscored by 2) but ultimately lost by 20. Poor first half shooting from the arc(2/10) combined with Texas' hot first half shooting from the arc(8/15) was the difference. Mizzou hosts the Huggycats Saturday to try and get their first conference win before heading to Lawrence.

Brian Randle had his best game of the year, actually driving to the basket and looking very good doing it. And Rich McBride even made a couple baskets!

On the negative side, Warren Carter, for all the strides he's made this year, is still just not an intelligent ballplayer. He seems to travel at least once a game 25 feet away from the basket, and tonight picked up 2 incredibly stupid fouls(on a 3 pointer and on a drive to the basket by Haluska with Illinois up big late.-Haluska misses the 3 point play and it turns into a 5 point play when Iowa grabs the board)

Yeah it would have been nice if we had any kind of interior post defense to stop Randle's drives. The amount of uncontested dunks Illinois had during that 7 minute stretch in the second half was sickening. Carter had two 3's, a 17 footer and probably one or two of those dunks during that spurt.

Tough loss. Iowa really played well to close out that first half and for the first 6 minutes of the second half. After getting up 45-39 we had 3 straight turnovers and all hell broke loose. We only had 5 turnovers in the first half and then had 10 in the first 12 minutes of the second half. That was compounded by the fact that it seemed as if the Illini got either a dunk or 3 off of every one of them.

Illinois almost handed it to us down the stretch and if our PG's had made a decent decision on the last two possessions we might have been able to pull it off.

Is that two straight losses for Duke? Suck it, ESPN!

Duke is not very good right now. Tech turned it over 28 times and still won going away. Until Duke can figure out how to score some points, they are going to have a very hard time in this ACC. Much of the league can score at will.

Paulus was benched and they started Henderson instead. I wonder if he'll go to the sport he is actually good at.
