Well apparently Mizzou played today. I thought it was tonight, but whatever. Lost to KSU at home 85-81. This team is terrible. We're going to get raped @ KU next week.

 

What an ugly game. Down 10 at the half and battled back before blowing their shot at the end(down 5, Marshall Brown had a breakaway dunk that he one handed off the back iron). 57 fouls called in the game and 73 free throws, ridiculous.

Damn you Marshall Brown...

 

To be fair though, he's the reason we came back from the 16 point deficit. He was driving the lane at will, knocked down a couple treys, and I don't think he missed a FT all day. But if he had just gone with two hands on that finish....

Wisconsin better send a nice gift basket thanking Northwestern for crapping the bed down the stretch. Terrible.

 

Bo Ryan never plays Northwestern well. I can't explain it for the life of me.

There are a lot of teams that struggle at Northwestern, non more than Iowa. It's a different style of play, different kinds of players and strange environment compared to the rest of the Big Ten.

 

I've been in Evanston for two Iowa losses in the past five years in Evanston. It really is odd. The building wasn't full and not loud, which I think throws off the opposing team. Then you see 5 guys who you would expect to see at the local YMCA. Then they use this style of play you haven't seen all season to take you out of your game and dictate tempo. On top of that they never seem to miss a shot down the stretch.

 

No disrespect at all to Northwestern or it's fans that are here. It works for them and that's all that matters. It's just a completely different experience than you encounter in any other Big Ten road game. I hate it.

 

By the way, ugly 60-49 win by Iowa at home over Minnesota today.

ND cruises over Seton Hall 88-76 to go to 3-1 in the Big East and 15-2 overall. Carter scores 25 and Luke Harangody finally starts over the complete joke Luke Zeller.

 

If this team can beat Villanova we could easily be looking at 6-1 heading into a tough two-game stretch against Nova (again) and Syracuse.

Apparently Mizzou plays Kansas tonight @ Allen Fieldhouse at 8:00 CT on ESPN. Kansas will win by 40.

 

Only way we have a chance to win is if Brown or Hannah decide to pretend to be Thomas Gardner from last year's game.

 

That game was so awesome.

KU wins by three and Mizzou takes two bad shots on their last two possessions to ensure defeat. Tough loss.

great game and game plan by Mizzou. Defintely a better team than I thought. KU, as usual, looked alarmingly inconsistent. I want to have Sherron Collins's babies.
