Like I said earlier, worst team in almost 15 years. Tubby deserves blame, being the classiest coach in the game sometimes doesn't translate to the most productive.

 

I don't want him canned, but this team sucks right now, blows, they've played like crap all year. I'm terribly angry at his lifeless group.

 

7 years is too damn long. They had the best recruiting class last year in the nation and none have progressed.

Between dUKe being the best team in the NBA by a wide margin, IU spanking UK, and UL doing well as usual under Pitino. This is a rough start for us.

JJ Redick would be a great addition to the Bulls next year. I doubt he'll make it out of the lottery though.

A. We have the Knicks' first-rounder, and they'll almost assuredly be in the lottery.

 

B. We might not make it out of the lottery either. :(

 

I want a big man with the Knicks pick (LaMarcus Aldridge would be good).

 

UCLA plays Nevada in the Wooden Classic in a bit. I expect a loss for the Bruins; despite only 1 loss, they really haven't looked that impressive (still no inside game - guards Afflalo, Bozeman and Farmar have been carrying the team).

Notre Dame plays Florida International tonight, so barring an Alabama letdown, the Irish should go to 4-2.

 

Ball State is at Terre Haute facing Indiana State tonight...we pretty much need four of their players to drop dead to have a chance in that one.

UCLA beat #17 Nevada and looked impressive! Jordan Farmar had a huge game. Looks like the freshmen big men are having some good games - maybe UCLA does have an inside presence?

 

By the way, look out for Cal. Leon Powe is healthy and having a monster season.

Ball State goes down valiantly to Indiana State, but when you air ball two free throws in the closing minutes, you don't deserve to win. Three weeks till IU comes to town to kill us. I'm going to say it every time we lose from now on, but damn, we miss Peyton Stovall.

Look out Dee is starting to find his shot, the further he gets from his surgery the better. Did anyone else notice the announcers talking about how great Luther Head is then not recognizing it was him sitting behind Dee and James during the game? If he is so great, why don't you recognize him. :alright:

i can't believe i couldn't watch the Illini game tonight. This game should've been on CSN tonight...oh well very nice win for Illinois. A 30 point win against Oregon at Portland? This team is coming together nicely and from what I heard, Dee was great and Arnold was nice tonight.

Interesting, I turned the BSU game off with .4 left and they'd fouled someone and were down 56-53, and the final was 57-56 ISU. The Cards must have made a halfcourt heave at the buzzer to cut the final margin to one...now I want to see a highlight.

i didnt notice luther either, but i wasnt watching really closely. oregon just looked really bad, unless thats just the defense. randle needs to get in on the scoring more often, and arnold looked good today.

Michigan State's offense is really firing on all cylinders. Gray and Trannon are really making strides to shore up the defense and rebounding. I feel really good about them doing a lot of damage to the B10.

If Randle gets going, I like the Illini's chances of winning the Big 10 again. Illinois is undefeated and hasn't come close to playing their best ball yet. The lost a lot when Deron and Head left, but they are better defensively and are a lot more physical now, IMO.

 

I am a lot more optimistic about the team than I was before the season started, mainly because MSU, Indiana and Iowa aren't living up to their billing.
