all those people who like tim thomas could probably all come back and make their case again

I didn't care for him on the Bulls, but I'll love him to death as long as he keeps killing the Lakers.

I saw this little tidbit on the game recap.

Chicago Bears safety Chris Harris was escorted from his seat behind the Miami bench early in the fourth quarter after an exchange with Heat C Alonzo Mourning.

Haha, that is awesome.

I love Chris Harris. This just makes me love him more.

I wish this first round would get over, my Mavericks are getting bored sitting around at home. :D

not a Bears fan by any stretch, but I have some new found respect for Harris :)

The Bulls, to their credit hung in there, won two, could have had three, I'll say it again - with an inside scoring presence the Bulls win this series in 5. Nevertheless, this is the Heat' high point, with their lack of defense they haven't much of a chance vs the Pissants (assuming they both make to the Finals). I don't like the Pissants much but, they are superior team to the Heat.

What Shaq does is football. A 7'1", 330 pound guy just shoving people around and dunking the ball. I hate his style of play.

And Wade is full of crap. I didn't see a single piece of evidence that he was injured tonight other than his exaggerated limping for the cameras. He's just trying to create his own MJ flu game. I love his stupid finger point after the game was over. Way to go, jackass. You beat a 7 seed, which only 40 of the 44 2 seeds have done in the last 11 years.

I'm completely bitter. An ECF of Heat-Pistons will be an abomination to watch. Cocky bastards against cocky bastards.

Gotta agree with ya. Wade is a good actor. It's official, I don't like anybody that plays on the Heat team now. It was a good run for the Bulls. Hopefully Pax will make the right moves and we can make it out of the 1st round.

Yeah, it seemed like Wade really enjoyed his WIllis Reed move from game 1 (When he simply had cramps from trying to outrun HInrich all game), so he tried to recreate it again in games 5 &6.

And could someone tell me more about this fingerpoint ndistops is talking about. I missed the end, and I'm in the mood to be angry with d wade.

So now that the Bulls are out I really don't care about who wins. The only things I'm really interested in watching now is LeBron James, maybe some of the Mavs Spurs series, and any series involving the Suns. Unlike other sports in this city (aka BASEBALL and FOOTBALL to an extent), I have full faith that whatever Paxson does this offseason is gonna work out. Kinda nice to have that faith in one of the general managers of my teams.

The Heat are good enough to beat us, but still I found them to be wholly unimpressive.

I wouldn't be suprised if they fail to make the conference finals. And, of course, if they do----the Pistons will be there and it will get really ugly.

I actually don't mind Shaq so much----but it's clear he's nearing the end. And Wade, while I think he's a star, he's not on the level of a Kobe Bryant or a LeBron James. He might never be.

The way I look at it, we have one glaring need. An quality inside presence. That's it. Give us that one player with a decent backup to spell him----we're a contender.

We are not far away. Not far at all.

After he hit his last shot of the game to put Miami up by like 15 with 2 minutes to go, he turned around and pointed his index finger into the crowd. For all I know he was pointing at his family since he's from Chicago, but it looked like a cocky move to me. He did the same thing as the game was ending over on the bench.

Skiles is a badass. Walker was telling him to stop his whining at the end of the first half because Skiles believed he should've been whistled, and then Skiles shot back "you've been whining the whole series". Funny, and true.

Agreed on all counts. I was impressed by our play, to be honest, if you told me the Bulls pushed the Heat to 6 games, I would have told you that you were a moron.

Unimpressed with the Heat, wouldn't be surprised to see them bounced out in the second round.

I'm tired of seeing Posey or Walker hit another goshdarn 3 while we double Shaq. At least I'll save myself from throwing something at the TV now...

Maybe we can get Aldridge...or anybody that can score and is taller than 6'9'', thats fine with me.

i agree. One legitimate big man away from contending with the higher teams in the East. I see the future of the East with the 4 best teams being the Pistons, Cavs, Bulls, and Magic (yes they have a great future ahead of them). As my sig shows, those are the guys I want. If we can get Aldridge and O'Bryant, I will be very very very satisfied.

lol @ Gilbert Arenas

that made me really sad :(

Second time in the series I left with the Cavs down around 5 on the road with about 5 minutes left and come back to them winning.

Next up: Detroit

Did you leave because you thought they would lose because that isn't much of a comeback at all.

No, I wasn't losing hope or leaving out of disgust, just went to get ice cream with friends.

Ah, the ole good luck when you aren't there thing. Happens to me a lot. Where'd you go, shakeys?

I hope the Pistons destroy the Cavs. I'm fairly confident they will.

Why is that? If I weren't a fan I'd still be rooting for the upset.

I'm rooting for the Cavs just to see how many ways the talking heads can fall in love with LBJ if he makes it to the ECF.

I'm not sold on O'Bryant, though maybe 16 is the right slot for him. Where is he projected? That high?

he is projected even higher than 16th in some mock drafts. nbadraft.net has O'Bryant going 12th to the Hornets. InsideHoops.com has him going 10th to the Sonics. DraftExpress.com has him going 15th. He's right around the area for the 16th pick.
