Seeking a community after the Cubs 2003 season I found NSBB and a home. Though the 2004 and 2005 Cubs campaigns didn't turn out successful, the NSBB community continued to grow and provide me a greater insight on baseball and the Cubs organization minor league to majors.

So to Tim and the Mod's I tip my hat and wish nothing but the best for 2006 and beyond.

Knowing NSBB will only get better along with the Cubs.

I can't wait till next year!!!

Stick around here all off season too! I'm sure all sorts of hilarity will ensue! Stay tuned to see which poster will be voted out of the tribe next week!

In all seriousness, this site is great. I love being part of this community. If my 2000+ posts this summer alone didn't speak for themselves...

This board does rule, fwiw, ESPECIALLY in the offseason! :)

This board really rocked two years ago in the playoffs. those were some great times. hopefully we will have that kind of atmosphere again soon. No matter what the doom and gloomers say it shouldn't be too hard after all the NL sucks and we have money.

This board is the best, whether in season or during the offseason.

I also thank the mods, administrators, and Tim for their terrific work providing great insight and a largely troll-free experience.

Definitely. This board was a huge bright spot for this season. DJaxxFan was amazing getting all the chats together. The Mods have done a good job keeping things civil. It's amazing how far this site has come in 2 years.

I promise to do more of my part next year as far as articles, and farm reports.

I'm a Cardinal fan, and I feel more at home here with this group of posters than at the Cards Talk board. The fans here are fantastic. Tim and the Mods do a great job of keeping this a baseball 1st forum. Kudos from someone on the outside of your fanbase.

You guys are nuts, this season stunk.

We all failed.

I was injured part of the season, and I mostly posted during the day. So blame day posting, not us.

I blame my keyboard. My keyboard at home and at work are black. I sit next to a window, and black keyboards don't do well in the sun. The lighting is bad at my house, and I couldn't see it well at night. And it gives you glares, man, you know.

But if you have a girlfriend, you don't put her down just because a stripper shows up in a cake. You have to figure out a way to keep your girlfriend around while still giving time to the stripper. Dude, you know what I'm talking about.

Thanks to Tim et al. for letting me be a part of this place and sounding off. Also thanks to the numerous members whose points of view have enlightended me in several ways.

I want to thank DJAXX for all the great chats, and thank Tim for creating and running a site that has become respected enough to attract posters like Len, Bruce Miles, and others that might lurk. It's so cool to be a part of something this cool at the beginning.

Great work to all the mods, admins and board founders!

It's ok JC we all consider you the Jose Macias of this site.

Come on. Macias wouldn't have any trouble with day posting. He is made for being up in the middle of the day. In addition, Macias was about the only one not injured on the team.

I'm more of the Scott McClain type. Lots of thunder, but too often missing my mark.

Agreed. And not only thanks to the mods, but thanks to the people who post here everyday and increase my baseball knowledge.

Thanks to all of the mods and admins that run the board. You may be bashed at times by some for being too restrictive or banning people too soon but if you do not do these things the board would turn into the cubs.com or espn.com forums. I think we can all say that's the last thing we want. Thanks for keeping this place somewhat sane during this season.
