I just wanted to address this fanzone guy:

I can understand why you think I'm a troll, because I realize there are trolls on other boards who do the exact same thing...but, as I said, this is NOT my intention. No, I'm not e-mailing people telling them what I've done...I'm sure my friends wouldn't care if I started a rumor on an internet message board that wasn't true, and I'm not getting a good laugh from getting people's hopes up. I'm a Cubs fan who's passing along information from a solid source, that's all.

Methinks you protest just a bit too much. Previous posts end with identification as a Cardinals fan, and laughing at the Cubs' fans who fell for the gag as being "desperate." Your post is too similar to the other hoaxes in multiple respects for me to believe otherwise.

Anyway you could re-contact this source today?

I'm actually the source. Just ask me anything.

How many Dunn heads could you fit in a Kearns head?

That question cannot properly be answered. The problem being that scientists have yet to actually find a number large enough to scope the sheer hugeness of Austin Kearns' head.

If Kearns was much taller would he be able to eclipse the Sun with his head?

Do you know any names of secret CIA operatives?

Yes. Wily Mo Pena is in fact, the third best agent in the CIA.

Also, Tony La Russa's awful hair is in fact an undercover agent.

Sure, I'll try, but what do you want me to ask him?

For one thing, a little bit more analysis of the possible deal from your friend might really go a long ways in returning some confidence. Maybe you could ask him what would still have to happen to get a deal finalized. Like, are the players finalized, with just a few minor details left? Or are they just talking? Is there any chance that the Cubs would go for Kearns if the Dunn deal falls through?

OK, I'll contact him and see what else he knows...The players are finalized, and they should announce it today or tomorrow, but I'll ask him to make sure that there are no parts of this deal yet to be completed.

Not only that, but the sheer amount of weight of his head that far off of earth would throw it off its axis. As a result he actually can never ride on a plane.

If such an event were to occur, Kevin Mench would be injected with steroids and then launched into the air in the opposite direction to hopefully save the planet.

OK, those are previous posts, not mine. I'm a die hard Cubs fan, and again, I'm just passing this info along.

Why Kevin Mench? Why not Carlos Lee sans the steroids?

He's plan B. And incase you never noticed, Mench has a HUGE head.

I've never heard many of aerosmith's songs, this is why I asked.

Well seeing as he is a supporter of pie, I find it hard for him to be a troll.

That and I am also the source in question.

Want to be confused? Read the first 5 pages of this thread, and then skip to 16.

it'll all be forgotten when this thread is added to the "Greatest threads ever at NSBB" when the cubs get dunn, or the "Most sadistic thread ever at NSBB" if it's a big load of hooey

either way you are all posting in a legendary thread, and we can't find out for sure until 48 hours (or whatever). we have to kill the time somehow, so....
