Who's the gal in your (thankfully) oversized avatar?

That's me! :D

I figured that was a model or somebody's girlfriend.

LOL, am I the only one that thinks that's funny? "somebody's girlfriend" may not equal model... Oh never mind, I have a twisted sense of humor. Thanks for the compliment. :D

No they don't equate. I've known plenty of guys with girlfriends who're only fit to model socks. Just stating the facts, but you're welcome.

How is that different from stealing a foul ball from an aging left fielder in an important playoff game?

Points???? Heaven forbid he give the ball the kid because he's really a nice guy.

Haha, Jon's such a sleazeball.

Better a 19-year old than no date, eh Jon?

I should really not talk.

The other positive of knocking over a little kid to get a baseball is that you'll make every news reports in the country and be ripped to shreds by countless numbers of people. Some people love local celebrities.

ENOUGH WITH BLAMING STEVE BARTMAN ALREADY!!!!!! ANYONE IN HIS POSITION WOULD HAVE DONE THE EXACT SAME THING, AND IF THEY SAY THEY WOULDN'T, THEY'RE LYING!!!!!

I agree most casual fans would have done the same thing but that does not make it right. I know I would not have interfered and I bet a lot of other posters here would not have either.

That being said Bartman was not the reason we lost.

I come to see if the lineups have been released and I find people talking about Bartman.

Sorry. I'm just sick of everyone blaming him and no one blaming Alex Gonzalez for bobbling the double play ball.

he's in the lineup today.

Geez, stupid Dusty. Playing Bartman over Cedeno now?

MAn oh man

Those of you who pay attention know that I normally give Dusty the benefit of the doubt, but we have won 8-9 with JHJ and Walker at the top and it is like he has to get JHJ out of there somehow. Probably thinks a young strong guy like that needs a day off!!, but somehow Burnie never needs one. I just don't get it

Hairston better be ready to go the next week. Hopefully Dusty sits Burntiz, as well as players like Ramirez and Lee, a game between tomorrow and Monday. Edited by Jon

man why can't dusty leave well enough alone. was he not happy with scoring 7 plus everygame? The guy shouldn't be allowed to manage professional teams.

Looks like he wanted the all lefthanded outfield tonight. JHJ has been slumping a little lately (so has Burnitz) but Burny has more power potential so I think that may have had something to do with the decision.

Might as well see if Burnitz can hack it in CF, eh?

I'm sure he'll do fine in center. But why bench Hairston and move the outfield around rather than just giving Burny the night off? Or why not just sit Hollandsworth? Man Dusty is stupid.

It is just a good thing that a slump at a ss position doesnt mean you sit or we would have had to watch cedeno start tonight (end sarcasm)

Dusty loves Hollandsworth too much to sit him. He might get "rusty" after all.

I think it's because with Dunn in right and Gerut in left Burnitz has to have a position somewhere...
