Cool. 8) How is Bellhorn progressing? He wasn't the OBP machine of last season, and now he's on the DL.

He's been pretty awful for Boston this year and now he's on the DL. Boston just went out and got Tony Graffanino from the Royals, so it's pretty much up in the air as what will happen to Bellhorn when he comes off the DL. They also went out and got Alex Cora.

You and your stupid stats Fred...

Posted
fred, do you have stats on W-L in blue jerseys? grey jerseys?

This might be the stump Fred question of the year.

That's something I've thought about..... but the problem comes with the fact that the boxscore doesn't contain that information.... or, in other words.... if I'm out of town and can't see the game on TV, there's no way to know what uniforms they wore that day.

i feel terrible for cedeno. the kid is being ruined.

Well don't just stand there, get a hit out on his competition! ;)

No, wait, Dusty would just play some other scrub past his prime. Now if you were to bump off Dusty... ;) I daresay you'd get a street named for you in Wrigleyville - or at least your own T-shirt from NSBB (see Honors forum). :)

Why can't our pitchers ever get through the first 3 innings without giving up a homer?!?!

Yah. Wood, Prior, and Z have been giving up way too many homers this season. I wish they'd stop that.

Are you referring to our starting pitchers who have only given up a total of 15 ER in the last 9 games?

I'm not saying they are multiple run homers...just saying it seems like they have been giving up a lot of solo homers in the first few innings. But it may just be my short memory.
