Whoa, I just saw that the game is on at 11:35 tomorrow. That's odd.

Odd for us, but it's the regular starting time for weekday afternoon games in Cincinnati.

Oh, really? Interesting. I don't mind it, I just didn't know that games usually started that early for them.

You gotta remember that it's 12:35 in Cincy. That's still early for a game, but it's not that early.

Gah, i wish the game was 12:35. I want to watch baseball now.

As i say that, The Orioles - Twins game is on. AND STEVE STONE IS ANNOUNCING! well, at least he's doing pre-game commentation...

Girl or Woman? Just curious, seeing as how it is a BIG difference.

I should know, I proposed to my wife at Wrigley, and the fact that she "liked baseball" but had no clue, yet was willing to go and ask (smart) questions...mmmm...made all the difference. Could be a make or break date...

Good luck Rocket, the Cubs suck

Cubbie from TX in AR

I guess it depends on your interpretation. She's 19.

A 22-year-old guy interested in a 19-year-old woman? And I thought I had heard everything.

Don't mess up. And by that I mean don't knock over little kids to get a HR ball. If you knock over some teenagers to get a HR ball and give it to a little kid, though, that might get you some points.

Better a 19-year old than no date, eh Jon?

BTW, I like your sig with Lee hitting the homer.

There's Astros/Pirates on MLB.tv - I watched yesterday's first game too. Does anyone go to these games or are they played on the moon or something? OK, people work, I get that, but even so...there's like nobody there.

Well, its the battle of the mediocre. Plus, the Pirates have been below average for several consecutive years. It's difficult to get fans excited about seeing them play.

In other news, will Daryle Ward ever get another hit? lol, I think he's 0 for his last 23

Sorry, if little punk kids are in my path for a foul ball, they're going to have to get hurt. I think she'd be impressed by that. I had a goal, and I didn't let anything stop me from achieving it. Very admirable.

Points???? Heaven forbid he give the ball the kid because he's really a nice guy.

Haha, Jon's such a sleazeball.

Better a 19-year old than no date, eh Jon?

I should really not talk.

The other positive of knocking over a little kid to get a baseball is that you'll make every news reports in the country and be ripped to shreds by countless numbers of people. Some people love local celebrities.

How is that different from stealing a foul ball from an aging left fielder in an important playoff game?

I do like gals....

Double aargh! No game again tonight! Damn you Flint, MI! Not showing the game AND being all better than my hometown of Gary too....

It's worth it tho, with this cake of a week. Played golf today (while getting paid no less) for the first time this year - 11 over par for 9 holes (I don't loike golf enough to spend 5 hours walking around a golf course in the sun), which is not bad for a novice like me (this is my third year of playing). 4 pars even.

I saw the first post in that Dunn rumor thread - that'd be a killer deal for us. Doubt if it's real, but that'd be awesome....

That's me! :D

No kidding! I figured that was a model or somebody's girlfriend. Well you are one good looking gal.

And since good-looking gals usually get what they want, I guess you can keep the DLee sig.

LOL, am I the only one that thinks that's funny? "somebody's girlfriend" may not equal model... Oh never mind, I have a twisted sense of humor. Thanks for the compliment. :D
