The off-season is over.  The preseason has begun, at least for some.

Bears playing the Browns right now.

Through 2 series, the Bears D have pressured the QB once, on a blitz.

That's basically the only thing I'm interested in today.

To give an idea how much importance the Bears Offense is placing on this game, the starting skill players were 4 TEs and Roschon Johnson.

Yikes, Roschon Johnson just isn't fighting through any contact.  Just went down after half an arm tackle from a DL falling away from the play.

I didn’t watch this one live but watching some highlights does show that Bagent was….not good…. Against back ups on the Browns. Not a great showing from him.

I went to this game with my kids. Preseason football sucks but the crowd is very family friendly unlike the regular season.  The Bears do a good job with the kids fest. Even ran into George McCaskey and got a photo with him. Nice guy,  I wanted to tell him nobody is buying your indiana bluff but didn't.

As for the game.  Bagent looked terrible,  But didn't he last year too?

Wow, given the injury, that's amazing for Trapilo.  I have to think the plan to ease him in, no?  I mean, could he be fully healed?

So uh, Grady Jarrett may have destroyed Monongai's knee in a non-padded practice.

From Bears Wire less about two hours ago - ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Monangai is believed to be "fine" and "initial tests showed his knee to be structurally sound, but the team will do an MRI to confirm."  Even if he were to miss some time, as long as the line blocks, doesn't matter who's running the ball.

Still, come the horsefeathers on with this constant stream of injuries BS.

Good news there. Hopefully he is ready week 1. And Trapillo coming back now is a minor miracle

Ozzy Trapilo is activated to practice and Kyler Gordon is nowhere to be seen. Lol.

Gordon did post a short video of him doing some band work, guess he's been at the Bears facility the whole off season.  If, while working hard to come back, he got injured, I'd like to think Ben wouldn't be ripping him a new one.  The fact that Ben is ripping him a new one and sounds thoroughly disgusted tells me otherwise.  Comparatively speaking if I where Kyler Gordon I'd be pretty horsefeathers embarrassed and inspired to prove people wrong.  No surgery, "soft tissue" injury vs. major surgery and the dude who was under the knife makes it back before you do.

Yeah I really can't believe he's ready to go. If he is healthy, which I assume he is, that's huge for the O-line.

Davenport was a first-round pick (14th overall) by the New Orleans Saints in 2018, back when Sean Payton was the head coach and Allen was the defensive coordinator.

Monongai out "multiple weeks " with hyper extended knee. Not sure if that means any regular season games?

Sounds like he'll be back right around Week 1.  We'll have to see if he gets into that game or if it lasts a little longer.
