Or hit into a double play on 3-1

Don’t like Conforto starting. Good off the bench but not great as a starter.

I went a little meatball and did the same thought process, going so far as to be like 'well maybe he could be a shutdown multi inning guy'. But he's actually better second time through the order. And is generally a good pitcher. Nats offense is good, he had a good start last time, we'll be fine.

8 of 9 wins and the sky is falling after one game I see

One loss over this stretch is definitely not a cause for concern - I’d just take a hit at this point 😂

I know what you mean though. Cubs have been playing excellent baseball - today is definitely not their day. Stuff happens. Go get the Cardinals…….and a hit tonight lol

Oh well. The '27 Yankees weren't beating Cavalli today

I bet they didn’t face 99 on the corner either.

Tip the cap 🧢 - Cade Cavalli……great game, sir

Yeah, that's really all you can say about this game. Even with a top-notch offense during a good stretch, you can run into the occasional buzzsaw.

Yes sir - he was on his A+ game today. Gausman has me a bit concerned, but then again, the Nats have a very good offense.
Hit reset and get a W tomorrow

Blue Jays shutout on 2 hits

Mariners 1 run on 5 hits

Yankees shutout on 4 hits

Marlins 1 run on 3 hits

Guardians shutout on 4 hits

Cubs shutout on 1 hit

Seems like a lot for one day

EDIT:

I misread his post, interpreted as for next year, so just leaving my response as it still kinda nuts...

Crazy that theyll possibly be losing all 5 of their current SP to FA after the season.

Gausman, Boyd, Imanaga, Holmes, and Peterson.

Right now we're looking at just Steele and Assad for the OD rotation.

Horton out til maybe 2nd half 2027

Wiggins will likely start the season in Iowa
