If the Angels ask for Rojas and Adyers in a Detmers package ? Yes or no ?

I'm going to say no for both of those prospects. Now, if you want to say Ayers for Detmers straight up, then I'll say yes to that.

The team that should go to a full sell mode will be the Miami Marlins. They're currently on a 11 game losing streak. So, if we're giving away Rojas and Ayers (let's just say those players), then I'm asking Miami for Sandy Alcantara over Detmers. We've seen what Alcantara can do, and he has shown flashes that he can do it. He goes deep into ball games. The stuff, to me, is still there.

For Detmers, it's a lot similar to trading Cease/Eloy for Quintana. We're hoping Quintana, an average pitcher at the time for the White Sox, can turn it around for the Cubs. He never did, and ended up having an average, yet long, career.

I know Alcantara had a rough patch in June, but he has around a 3.4ish ERA in April, July, and August. The K's aren't as high as in CY dominating years 2-3 years ago, but it's still a good respectable rate.

Detmers is going to cost more than Rojas and Ayers, even with add-ons like Kepley and Wing. He's a LHP SP with multiple years of team control.  He's going to cost more than Cabrera did this offseason

Joe Ryan scratched with arm fatigue ...... this following elbow pain in May.

Arm fatigue sounds so fake, but it might explain why he gave up 6 homers in 4 innings in his last start

Mead’s finally starting to live up to the prospect hype with his bat this season. Horrible defense so far though. Idk, initial thought is Early is an overpay for him.

134 wRc for Mead . That came out of nowhere . Cubs didn’t have a good young bat that compares to that production unfortunately . Early would have been a good fit with the cubs

Yeah, think that's a pretty fair trade. Early is good but think the upside is more "mid-rotation". Mead's upside capped because the glove is "below average" to "bad".

Early would have been a solid off-season target. Not the guy we need for a playoff run this season though.

That's a great deal for the Nats. Mead was a waiver pick up and they turned him into a good upside starter who I wanted. Not to discount the season or prospect status Mead has had but that's a no brainer.
