They don’t need Skubal - Milwaukee knows what they’re doing. They develop pitchers and have excellent management.

Not a brewers organization move. They will trade for Detmer or some obscure pitcher a team has given up on and he will become their version of Skubal. That’s more likely.

They don't need Skubal to roll the rest of the division, but if they want to have a chance at beating the Dodgers in the NLCS, they absolutely need him.

I'd be super surprised, if the Brewers get Skubal.  Like you said, they develop pitchers, and they trade them for the future, right before they hit free agency.
