I didn't hate Boozer.  He was as advertised...below average athletic big that can't play defense but was a big body who could score and hit a jumper.  Any disappointment I had about him was due to the fact that he was the consolation prize in the LeBron/Wade/Bosh sweepstakes.

All that said, if his son is anything like his father in terms of traits and skills, I'm not terribly excited about him.  If he's more explosive and athletic I feel a little better about him.

He played a pretty good game against Michigan's monster front line.  Didn't dominate but Mara, Yaxel and Morez are all obvious pros and a tough task for any frontcourt player.  They might end up on the Bulls together when all is said and done.   It once again shows how great this draft is and how the Bulls really can't go wrong at 4 and 15.  Great work AKME!  😜

In his prime Brand was a 20/10 guy. I would take that with the 4th pick in the draft, whether it is Boozer or Wilson. They can, and have done a lot worse with the 4th pick (P. Williams)

To me there is no real reason for the Bulls to move up.

I've also seen two different nonsensical Bulls/Jazz trade ideas.

1. JJJ for 4th and Patrick Williams. Yeah, no. I want Williams off the team but not at the expense of the #4 pick.

2. #2 for 4, Buzelis and a future 1. Again, no.

Agree. If they want to move up from #15 to get a guy I'm fine with. Just send the other team 12 2nd rounders and call it even.

The dream scenario, for me anyway, would be get Wilson at #4, trade #15 plus whatever to get to #5 and grab Acuff. The only issue is damn would your guard defense be bad, I'd still love Aday but after a really strong combine he's probably top 10 so you'd have to trade up for him too.
