Love that umpires give players 2 seconds to ABS challenge a balls or strike call, but they give managers a seemingly unlimited amount of time to challenge any other umpire decision.

They do get too long sometimes IMO but I think the difference is an ABS call can be confirmed definitively within 5 seconds and if given more time they could bog down the game by challenging every call.

I'd like to see them change that in all sports - have to challenge within seconds without checking the replay

Cubs need to not let those pitches bother them. No retaliation. 2 runs leads retaliation enough. But in a different game, a Padre would go down.!
