Their 2026 schedule sets up pretty nicely. Cupcake OOC schedule, only two tough games are Oregon and OSU

Advantage Indiana.  Man they wiped the field with Bama.  That was something to see.  Indiana/Ole Miss championship would be ideal.  You’ve got either IU as national champs which is historic and a great story, or you’ve got Ole Miss sticking it in Kiffin’s face which is awesome revenge porn and therefore also a great story.

Four very different narratives with these teams, with the only think linking them together is no recent national championships.  You have:

The historic loser
The historic powerhouse who has been irrelevant for a long time
The frequent bridesmaid but never the bride
And the middle of the road stepping stone program that had the perfect example of that this year!

It is really fun to have fresh blood at the top of college football.
