Marcel Reed has been trash the last two games. What surprises me is our inability to run the ball. I know Miami has a damn good D but our OL has been a huge strength all season. Our best RB missed most of the season and came back today but only got a handful of carries before reinjuring himself. Still should have been able to do something on the ground although the lack of a passing game doesn’t help any.

I had no misconceptions that we were going to beat the Buckeyes but it sure would have been nice to see us make it that far.

They’ll probably add a stipulation about needing to be in the top 16 or something like that. Then unless it’s super clear they should go, the committee will conveniently keep them out of the top 16 or whatever they make it.

The root cause to all of this was the ACC letting Duke in their championship game. I think most people would have been OK with one of those teams in. It really looks bad that 2 made it. Notre Dame playing either Oregon or Miss St and these playoffs look far better than the 1st round was.

I think 1 non power conference team making it in the playoffs is fine, but 2 is way too much.  But as a Notre Dame hater I found it hilarious and I enjoyed watching them cry over it.

ND seemed mostly upset about Miami, which to me, is misplaced anger.  It would have made much more sense to be upset that the CFP was letting Tulane and JM in.  Those teams had no business ruining prime postseason games.
