Dart looked good at times but that’s a 2 INT performance most days. That said he’s got a lot of potential.

I did not watch the first 3 qtrs so I cant really comment but man it looks like Dart's concussion saved us and he badly outplayed Caleb

The stats don’t really tell the whole story. Dart had a pretty strong game, and it’s very possible we don’t win if he doesn’t get injured, but Caleb was on all game long and suffered some real backbreaking drops. Plus he was so money at the end I don’t even really care that much.

play calling and game flow was off until the 4th though. One of the rare mediocre games for Johnson.

Did any else notice Wright knocking Burns on his ass?  Burns may have helped by jumping nevertheless, Wright kind of sent him flying to the ground.

The stats won’t plainly show it, but that was an absolutely heroic game from Caleb. How many pressures with no giants sacks? 9? 6 dropped balls from receivers.  No turnovers, clutch 4th quarter play.

Even if you give him a few of those drops the completion percentage is not where you want it to be, but I really loved that performance on the whole.

giants were eating up our play action, it didn't really create rhythm and space all game. lots of free rushers. i was saying that it looked like cutler at his best when our offense was in complete shambles and he was out fighting zombie hordes

Shortly before the Bears got it to 17 I was texting a buddy that this was like the exact opposite of the Saints game.  That was a win that felt like horsefeathers because Caleb played like ass, this was a (I was assuming) loss that Caleb balled the hell out for.

By the way, I’ve seen enough of Olamide Zaccheus. Please transfer all plays directed towards Zaccheus to Luther Burden, please and thank you.

I gotta say, I usually like Greg Olsen but I objected to a lot of what he said today. He was harshly critical of Caleb at times when it didn’t make any sense, failed to notice the double standard the refs took on roughing the passer when it came to Caleb being hit in the head, and I think he was frankly wrong on the Giants decision in the 4th.

95% of the time I think Greg Olsen is right on the “kicking field goals is a losing play” in comparison to going for it when you’re on the goal line, but in this circumstance, up by 7 and with your back up QB in, to kick a field goal and go up 2 scores I think is the right move. I maaaaay change my mind after the penalty to bring it within the 1, but I’m still not sure.

CJ Gardner-Johnson now leads the Bears in sacks.

He's been a Bear for 10 days.

This would be amusing if it were true. 😉

The drops were brutal. What's the total number of drops on the season (and how does it compare to other teams)?

Also, why the FUUUCK is Donald Trump in the booth for this Commanders/Lions game?

I think the Bears only had 8 coming in which made them one of the better teams, but they had 5 today

No idea why that dipshit was given the opportunity to spread his horsefeathers about how well the economy is doing.

He certainly finished well, but the lack of accuracy and missing wide open check downs is still concerning

I don’t think Caleb was particularly inaccurate today. Forget the drops, which were numerous, there were a number of incompletions that may look like he was off where he really wasn’t (but the passing game was out of sync) for example: in the 3rd quarter (I think) there was a play where there was a free blitzer and on first look it appeared that Caleb waited way too long to hit his hot read and there was an ugly incompletion to Monangai. But then you watch the replay and you see Monangai didn’t get clean off a chip block and took way too long to get in on his pattern, which made the delay from Caleb AND his throw all make sense.

It was a Fox broadcast.  He probably needs the break from all the golf he does while the country burns
