Hate and people being careless with their words have consequences.

You know, I agree with this wholeheartedly. In Kirk's case, the consequences are "being remembered as an horsefeathers"

Theyll probably schedule the games in SD at 8 or 9 pm and the home game at 6 or 7.

Oh man you thought they would still get a game at Wrigley after blowing this?

How do they probably still get #4 seed? They might since they have a small lead but the way they are playing right now it’s not particularly promising.

From 5 games up with 8 games to go to 1.5 games up with 5 games to go.

The positive after tonight is the Padres still down 2 in the loss column.  Instead of a 98% probability of #4 from Friday its probably like 70%.

Except the Dodgers are going to be at home too. So if the Dodgers are 7 pm Pacific Time, I would think the Cubs in SD would be either 1 pm or 4 pm games.

That a good possibility too, theyll likely put the Dodgers in primetime

Does that probability consider that the Cubs sort of don't care if they win, and the Brewers really want to ensure they don't play the Cubs in the NLDS so they're tanking to SD?

(im being irrational, this is just super annoying)

You didn't have to say it. As TT pointed out, you got super defensive about Kirk when we were only talking about Shaw.

Bottom line, you don't get to defend Kirk and then claim the moral high ground. Sorry.

No more high ground here pal - I’m as flawed as anyone, I was just stating the obvious. I believe it was you and some others that took it personally. Go back and read my comments - I never once called anyone by name. Since people like you were guilty of conscience, you decided to call me choice words and get rather defensive. I called some simpletons out of their “Nazi” comments, among other nasty comments, and just trash talking of another person. Again - do better buddy

I guess the exception would be if SD manages to win the division and the Cubs play in LA. That’s a 100% lock to be the late game each day.

So with 5 games left which starter are we counting on to try and get them at least 2 more wins.

Imanaga Boyd Assad Taillon or Soroka who will probably take Horton spot on Sunday.
