Can we bank some over the next 2 weeks and apply them until later? Like an uno-reverse card?

If we bank 9 or 10 of them they might give us 2?

The saddest people in Chicago right now might be the Ricketts family.

Postseason = spending too much much on the roster.

Expect a slashed payroll next year.

I see you’ve come to the dark side and given up on the division now. Lol.

Hahaha I mean, if I spent the last month making fun of people for freaking out about our make the playoff percentage dropping to 97%, I probably can't turn around and start eyeing the 98.4% chance of the Brewers winning the division.

Still playing for the #1 WC but, the pressure to make/not make the post season is off.  That's nice, was really worried the next 7 vs. the Reds and Mets were going to be of the win and in, lose and out variety.  Good they don't have to go into Cincinnati having to take three of four or some such nonsense.  Actually, it all on the Reds, I'm guessing they have to sweep the Cubs plus several other permutations of teams winning and losing to even have a chance.

That definitely coming with Ballesteros Caissie etc likely joining the roster next season, the only money move will be if they bring Tucker back or not.

Will TMac be going to the locker room for celebration and champagne 🍾 😅😅😅

Boog will probably ask someone to pour champagne over her.. lmao

Pouring champagne on TMac should be one of the experiences they auction off on ALS Day. 💰 😉

Totally random thought.  When Happ first starting playing for the Cubs I never would have thought he would be the longest tenured Cub.  He's consistently worked on his game, especially on defense where later in his career he's won the GG 3 times but also just being OPS+ well above the 100 mark every year.  It's frustrating when he goes on these slumps but he always bounces back.  He's a huge reason the Cubs turned it back on coming down the stretch this year.

I was only half listening but did I hear the broadcast call him the longest tenured Chicago pro athlete?  That's wild.

I thought I heard that too.  I didn’t check on it before I posted but that’s crazy if true!

I like our chances at home!

It’s definitely going to be a tough road to the WS .compared to 2016 but no Dominant team has showed it’s face this year so it’s up in the air. The Cubs were the favorite in the NL that year

They were. And that was an amazing year. But often the best team all season doesn’t win the WS. Sure, it would be nice not to have to play a WC round. But they are in, so anything can happen.
