Palencia was clearly gassed. Hope this gives him some rest. Assuming Kittredge gets the save opps. Maybe Rogers, who has closing experience. 

Does Kittredge still have an option for next year? I'd hope we pick it up. 

And I'd rather see Alcantara in CF than Castro but what do I know.

He is also the guy who has pitched 3 very good games in a row against good teams. Nap maybe “right now” he doesn’t suck.

I guess they figure they don't need the extra bat with the expanded rosters, but it would be nice to have Caissie in the lineup while Tucker is out.

He does, but it is $9M.  Jed has shown us his approach to building a bullpen, and paying middle/setup type relievers $9M isn't it.

So I’ve been looking at the MLB standings. Cubs have the fifth best MLB record and three of the teams above us have between 2 and 1 wins more in the win column. So as much as we’ve been disappointed with the second half, let’s not overlook that everyone else have had their own second half struggles. No one besides Milwaukee have sprinted passed us and they’ve sprinted passed everyone. Baseball is wacky and long.
