I feel like Swanson whiffs at pitches in the zone more than anyone I've ever seen

I wonder how often players have their vision checked. I mean that seriously.

If there's one positive of the innings in which the Cubs hit -

Gives me a chance to do all of the housework I need to catch up on before my partner gets home tomorrow and sees the state of squaller I have been living in for the week she's been gone.

Not like I'm missing much else.

Why couldn’t the Cubs get Littel at the deadline? Reds gave their 10th rated prospect and a 28 year old nobody. Why wasn’t he a better idea than a sore armed pitcher?

Man, we’re really reaching for something, huh?

It's a damn disgrace that Dansby Swanson is the highest paid position player on this team

Over/under 4 years before the Cubs eclipse his contract for another player?  I might go with the over.

Are the Brewers the best team ever or something?  LOL I mean, my goodness, what's it going to take for that team to lose a couple of games in a row.  Doesn't seem to matter who they play, they are 10 games over .500 against +.500 teams

There’s an inevitably with this offense, much like the playoff series vs Miami in 2020 and the final month of 2018 where scoring runs in like pulling teeth.

They will probably extend him, citing his "intangibles" and "defense" while letting guys like Tucker and Suzuki walk out the door

Might as well be 100-0 because Littell is a bad and the Cubs can’t touch him.  Beyond anemic and pathetic what else is there?
