Brewers scored 38 runs in their 3 game sweep of the Nats, 38-14 combined score with 7 of the 14 Nats runs coming in garbage time with the Nats down 10+ runs.

Meanwhile the Cubs have scored 7 runs all series.

 

Cubs need 6 more runs today to prevent the Brewers from jumping them in run differential

It's just amazing that the opposition' bullpen comes in and they're up 0-2 in a nanosecond.  Cubs bullpen can't find the strike zone area code with the first hitter.

Yeah, pessimistic or optimistic, its hard to deny this series has not been fun to watch.

The long and short of it is Seiya needs a couple days off. Tucker should be on the IL until he can actually slug again. This team is scuffling tight now and when your 2 and 3 hitters are slumping hard; everything else looks worse.
