Bad ump.

If they implement ABS challenges next year, if they limit it to a small number of challenge a game it would be a shame.  From what I've seen, the challenges are instant.  It would be stupid to not challenge that strike 1 call on PCA when it was so blatantly outside (and now strike 1 to Kelly) because Counsel wants to save his challenges for later in the game.

I'm not saying you have to do unlimited challenges but 2-3 a game doesn't seem like enough.

Don't you get to keep them as long as you keep getting them right?

Do you?  Interesting....I was going to say that data is available real time so easy to quickly challenge but I seem to remember challenges having to be initiated immediately by the batter or catcher, not from the dugout.  I could be wrong though.

At the very very least you should get 1 every inning for both pitching and hitting and can keep using another in that inning if youre right.

Correct on the challenging rule, and it cant come from dugout.

I freaking hate Nico's approach. If you're going to swing at every pitch, at least have a chance for slug. PCA's approach is horrendous but at least he catches a ton of barrels.

Yeah but PCA misses a ton of balls too. Obviously PCA has been more successful in the aggregate, but Hoerner has the lowest non-Arraez strikeout rate in baseball.
