Yep, throw him offspeed and he'll be out in front 99% of the time

He has more 1-pitch PA's than any other count. To his credit, he's crushing the ball on 0-0 counts (1.190 OPS) but it's still annoying

Another one of those people who buy a half inning of PBP for charity. He blew his home run call after JD said to use it on anything close. Was one foot from a homer!

He put a fine point on how difficult doing PBP is

When you realise the fan commentating his first ever inning on a live broadcast ended up doing a better job than Alex Cohen.

he's never mowed a lawn??

He grew up on Roosevelt Island in NYC and has probably lived in apartments/condos for his entire adult life so that tracks.

Since Javy was brought up, this is driving me crazy.  I remember the long running meme about Javy not recognizing crappy players on the Cubs but I cannot remember the origin of the meme.  Please someone remind me of the situation/who it was.  Unless I'm having a Mandela Effect moment.

I know this isn't actually what happens every time, but man it sometimes feels like the wind blowing out is a constant recipe for the other team hitting it high and watching it fly while our guys forget what a fly ball looks like

This is an objectively bad take.  One run is unearned because of the error and the pitch Perez hit out was both not even a strike and the softest HR hit at Wrigley this year.  Baseball is just gonna baseball sometimes.

What about this last one? 🤷‍♂️

He's getting whammied today lol

Yeah I think its one of those things where you remember the times we don't take advantage, but not the times where we hit 5 HR against the Mariners or 8 against the Cardinals.

This is why a second SP before the deadline is a necessity for this team.  You not only need to upgrade Rea, but you also need backup for Boyd/Horton in case they need a breather down the stretch.

Don’t understand why Rea faced Pasquantino there . Off day tomorrow and not much pen was used last night .

Rubber game of series . Makes absolutely no sense .  Pretty clear Pasquantino and Perez are seen the ball well .
