Is it the wind again? Not watching but, noticed the Cubs have hit quite a hard balls - 100+ Ev, with nothing to show.

If they struggle to score against bad pitching now cause of the wind, it  gonna be much worse come October and against better pitchers.

True enough but, if they keep hitting balls with 100+EV they're going to score some runs.  Not even one of balls is going to be knocked down by wind or at someone.

Cubs xBA is only .239 today. Some good EV's but generally just not a great day, either.

Baseball managers are great. They always want to talk about everything, including the result of the review. Clearly foul, but Counsell still wants a 2 minute meeting with the umpires lol.

Curious, had Busch missed the ball and Frazier ended up with a double,  they cant review it, wonder if Counsell would of came out and asked them to confer on it.

He wanted an explanation. You cannot review a fair or foul call in the infield. That is why the Pirates couldn’t ask for a review. He probably wanted to know why the guy closest to the ball was overruled by umpires further away.

Haha I was waiting for Swanson to be thrown out by 20 feet. Now I’ll just enjoy everyone saying we should have sent him if the run doesn’t come home
