Umpires are on a power trip like many cops. Whatever, at least Craig got his money's worth

Let's just call it what it is. Small dick energy.

Too many mistakes and the Tigers aren’t making any. But even if they lose this game, nothing that happened in this series makes me fear the Tigers. Cubs just don’t play their best and I truly believe we saw the absolute best of Detroit.

Yup. This particular umpire looked like he spent his formative years being on the receiving end of wedgies in gym class

This might be his best start yet. 10 whiffs already, I like the fastball placement overall. I know he gave up a few runs at the top, but hes looked really good so far, IMO.

Misses again to Greene plus bad pitch selection, my patience with Horton is beginning to wear a little.  Is he going to be type of guy with great stuff but, you can count on multiple mistakes thereby, giving you a chance every time he pitches?

Another obvious ball called a strike for the Tigers.  Why the horsefeathers can't the Cubs take advantage of this joke of strike zone or is Horton incapable of hitting those spots today.

This whole umpiring crew is a horsefeathers clown circus.  These guys have no business being on the field

Agreed. Don't know how far MLB sends their assignments out to umpiring crews in advance, but we got a bad crew for this series against a good opponent.

I didn't watch Friday's game because I wasn't near a TV screen, but having an inexperience crew like Emil Jiminez (Friday), Derek Thomas (HP umpire today) to go with a bad veteran umpire in Eddings just screwed us this weekend. Should've received a better crew.

I wonder if a team will ever get angry enough by a call/no call that they walk off the field.

I’m glad I’ve been more focused on the French Open. Amazing final.

Great match! Alcaraz didn't quit and Sinner was going down. It's incredible how great shape they're in.

I'll say this when the Tigers see the Cubs in the WS, all the bounces, bad calls aren't going they're way again, this is a one time occurrence, lap it up.  At least baseball greatest team, the Cardinals, are down 4 as well.

Plus an incredible number of obvious bad calls going their way.  Should they meet again, and I really hope they do, I like the Cubs chances.

Lol are you horsefeathers kidding me with Cohen today?

I don't hate him as much as a lot of you but it's still really insulting how seldom we get the best product

Boog was able to make it out for a road game, but he’s usually off doing ESPN radio on Sundays

Guess we saved all our offense for 1 game in the series

It would be fitting if the guy who shouldn’t even be in the game did something good.

GUESS NOT

I never expect anything positive to result from a Brujan at bat.  Pleasantly surprised when something positive does happen.

Well obviously we all hope they meet again. The only way that is possible is in the WS. So honestly other than the white sox, I hope the Cubs get a second series against any team in the AL.
