The Cubs get another Sunday Night Baseball game, this time against the Phillies. And, good news on that front: Aaron Nola is continuing his insane and bizarre even year-odd year oscillation between being a Cy Young contender and being bad. Let's hope he doesn't turn around his 2025 season tonight.

Would have to think it’s Roberts going down . I think it makes sense . Was thinking about this move after yesterday ‘s game .

Tom Cosgrove has been promoted to Chicago. No corresponding move announced yet.

I would not do this, but you do kind of wonder about Brown getting sent down.  Wicks pitched yesterday so he could slide in seemlessly.  And the Brewers and Giants have been ass against lefties this year (and that doesn't seem super fluke given their personnel).

This would be my guess as well. But when Miller and Brasier come back, who goes down? Or do they have to release guys?

I like the Cubs' chances tonight.

Taillon is not very good against the Phillies. Happ 0-15 against Nola. Not so sure I like their chances. Pretty much a 50/50 game as far as I can tell.

Ideally Taillon will be able to keep it close, I like the Cubs chances to get to the Phillies' bullpen.

Swanson could use a couple days off, maybe just sit him til Thursday game against Pirates, hopefully that'll help him have a good weekend in Milwaukee.  🤷‍♂️
