Time to stop playing Workman. The great Craig Counsell the bullpen whisperer had to see that Keller didn’t have it. Waiting way too long after an off day to pull him.

Yeah , I think the Workman experiment at 3B should be over . He looks terrified every time a ball is hit towards him .

Craig didn’t fully make the roster but…His bullpen (mis) management, like last year has got to account for some of the losses

has there been a worse/more damaging  player in mlb than workman? three errors (all of which immediately led to runs), plus the “double” he biffed the other day in extras that lost them the game. he also has one hit vs a non-position player.

Is the new stat I get to track this year “games where the Cubs have the lead and the pen gives up 5+ runs without recording an out”?

Teams are like just keep them under 10 we'll catch up against their bullpen

And they’ll be right more frequently than they should be.

meanwhile Jed still picking up marginal guys to try to find lightning in a bottle (I know he doesn’t have a ton of options at this point, but that’s what the offseason was for)

Head first slide probably gets in there.

yeah this annoys me too, also that ball that happ let drop in no man's land when we blew that game agains the padres last week

also amaya is just stabbing at the ball had a really bad frame on the first batter roberts faced

don't get me wrong the bullpen should still be shot into the sun

As bad as he’s been at 3B, he looks just as lost at the plate

It’s almost like he’s a Double A player the Cubs are trying to hold onto for…reasons and are forced to play because the Cubs couldn’t adequately address the 3B position in the offseason partially due to a massive payroll cut.

either work out a trade with Detroit or send him back over there
