Another 1st round draft pick who will see little to no time on the court in their 1st year.

And yet somehow end up with multiple All Star games under his belt after being traded in a few years.

Wow, shocked to see none of you liked the pick. He was my favorite choice of the guys available at 12 (CMB was my realistic hope and Malauch my pipe dream).

Essengue is the second youngest guy in the draft but was still productive in a professional league. That goes a long way for me. He has a projectable frame and good motor. He isn't a great shooter but at pick 12 in a mediocre draft, I'll take the upside swing.

Hopefully the Bulls hire a good shooting coach since they inexplicably fired Peter Patton.

Didn't hate it, but it doesn't exactly inject energy into a franchise that so desperately needs it.

More on Essengue from the homie Ricky on Stacey King’s podcast last week:

Intrigued by this pick. Sitting at 12 with a need for star power, might as well take a big swing on a guy with a high ceiling.

He could totally bust, but whatever. This trash franchise’s only hope is falling ass backwards into a star, so go ahead and take the athletic freak.

I don't hate it but I also believe he was drafted by the wrong organization. I have no confidence that Billy and the Bulls can develop him proper.

6'9" 194 seems REAL skinny for this league

I believe Buzelis measured in at 6'9" 197 at the Combine a year ago. They have different playstyles, but similar picks in the sense that they both played and had some success in a professional league.

I love this pick.  He and Matas can be an absolutely wrecking crew of defensive dobermans.

Too bad AKME always double down on their mistakes (Pat Will, Vuc).  This team won't be great but they'll be fun to watch.  Hopefully they add some shooting and maybe a star falls into their lap.

I simply can't fathom giving one cent to this shitbag of an organization. They openly don't care at all about winning. They don't even try to hide it. They embrace mediocre to poor results and in doing so line their pockets where they can.

Bulls trading the 45th pick for the 55th pick and cash is fun. Anytime you can receive 'cash' in a deal, you have to do that.

Bulls legend Cash Considerations is returning?

Oh man, the players will get Oscar Meyer and not store brand bologna.

I haven’t watched a Bulls game since like January of 2022. They’re just an absolute dogshit organization. I’m 100% convinced that the play-in was created specifically so Jerry could try even less and claim success.

Is the dude who is buying the White Sox also buying the Bulls?

JR has made every indication that he plans to keep the Bulls in the family because they are a lot more profitable and they look at the team more as a business than a sports franchise.

No, he already owns the Suns.

He's an investor in the Suns and his brother is the de facto owner.  He'll be the de facto owner of the Sox and his brother is an investor.  Weird set up but definitely precludes them from having an ownership interest in the Bulls.
