Lamar Jackson has been hit/tackled about half a dozen times in ways that Mahomes would have drawn a flag (but Jackson hasn't)

That one out of bounds 100% would have been a flag on Mahomes.

Also a few times he scrambled and chose to take the hit rather than go out of bounds

Snow games are always fun.

It’s one of my favorite things in sports.  Bad weather football.

Under 10 yards, sure.

You really should watch some video of Daniels to McLaurin. I basically watched every game. Daniels was VERY accurate, especially on deep balls. Yes, as someone mentioned, Daniels threw a Love-esque lollipop in that playoff game that was caught, but that's not how I remember most of his deep throws this year.

His Line gave him amazing confidence and he followed through. He didn't really have to make deep balls a big part of their game since their running attack did so much work. But they did it anyway. I'm very jealous of their coaching staff at the moment. A lot of people are calling for regression, and I think I was the loudest this offseason about how teams would snap him in two like a twig because he's so tiny, but they have all of the elements in place to continue on that same level of production next year.

My comment was criticizing Caleb, not Daniel's. His comp% was only ok for a rookie because he lived in the 0-10 yard range. Anything beyond that he was historically inaccurate.

The difference between Caleb and Jayden isn't JUST the O-Line or JUST receivers who can get open or JUST better offensive coaching/playcalling, but all of those things add up to a lot

Also wouldn't be shocking if the clock strikes midnight on Daniels and the Commanders next week vs. the Eagles.

Yeah they will now be playing the #1 defense. Only concern is how hurt is Hurts?

Upsets happen but I'd be really surprised if the AFC doesn't win the Super Bowl this year.

I think Philly should they get to the SB will beat either Buffalo or KC

Maybe if Hurts returns to normal, but we haven’t seen that yet.

It's going to get overlooked because of the Lamar turnovers and the Andrews turnover and drop, but man this was an awful PI call. At best it's a no call but if you're going to call PI, it should be on the offense. Bills would have had 4th and 5 from the 30 up 14-10 with just over a minute left in the first half. 47 yard FG in the snow is no gimmie. And Baltimore would have had time on the clock to try and move the ball. Instead, Buffalo burns more clock (preventing Baltimore the chance to drive) and gets a TD to make it 21-10.

That's the way I saw it when it happened. You either no call that or you call it on the receiver. He pushed off way more than anything the defender did.

I'll disagree on the PI call being bad, but mostly because the DB initiated contact and then held on.  The receiver definitely pushes off at the end, but that never happens if the DB isn't hanging onto his arms for the last 10 yards of the route.

You’re allowed some contact as a DB and it didn’t impede the WR much at all. If you’re going to call defensive PI or a hold, you need to call offensive PI for offsetting penalties for the shove. But I think a no call was probably appropriate. If you’re going to call PI for stuff like that, you’re going to have flags all game long for PI.

That wasn’t “some contact”

the defender was grabbing him for ten yards. Good defenders don’t have to do that

Maybe he took some shrooms and they started kicking in making him think he was running through a field of lavender holding hands with his bae (or beau)

Brian Cornelius Schottenheimer

Nepo baby coach

for several years I maintained that the bears got a lot more national grief than Dallas despite basically being the same organization since the 2000s. The comparison was very close, but Jerry Jones doing a better job exploiting revenue streams gave him more credit as an owner. The comp basically ceased to work in 2020s but maybe the gap will narrow again over the next couple seasons
