Why? It's not like we are talking about a projected 95+ win team to start the season. Talking about a mediocre team mildly under performing to like 78 wins. Nothing special to write about. Lazy roster building = deserved result.

I'm just amazed that every single SP on the Cubs hasn't demanded a trade. It must suck to go out and kill it everyday and then everyone else fails.

Hold the Brewers to 5 GD runs and lose 2/3. Hold the D backs and brewers to 14 runs and lose 4 of 6. 
 

what’s the record for most losses games a team’s allowed 3 or fewer runs because the cubs have to be on pace to break it. It’s sickening.

So, if I remember correctly Oakland and WSox can't pick in the top 10 so right now that puts the Cubs with the 7th best odds. Lets hope they tank themselves into the top 5 for a better shot.

Unfortunately that's who we are - a team built on the margins who is going to play close games. We need better players for more of the "easy" wins where the little things don't matter.

Literally just fixing catcher moves the Cubs up 7 or 8 spots in runs scored per game.

It was a joke referencing the 36 one run games the team has been involved in and the historically horsefeathers bullpen.
