I expect tonight's game to be the nail in the coffin for the 2024 season.  You can't be up to 10gb in the division and up to 4.5gb in the WC with 62 games left and think it's a good idea to further invest into this team.

To be honest, even if they won the rest of games on thr homestand they are not going to buy any more than they will sell. I don’t see this team going over the LT. Since they are close the LT now, they aren’t going to take on salary. As for selling I only see a few guys. Any bench guy, Bellinger and any pen arm on his last year. I just don’t see that much there for people to suggest selling. This is the team either way, for me, except for mah e some small moves selling or buying. Most likely, selling. .

The lineup just isn't very good without Bellinger in it, and wasn't that good with him in it anyways.  The bottom half of the lineup is very weak.  Morel and Swanson need to step it up, but doesn't look like its gonna happen.  This team doesn't have what it takes.  Too bad since the pen has now seemingly settled in.

The ASB came at a bad time for us. Just when we were starting to play good baseball, boom…. ASB. Drop the game yesterday, then get Gallen today. It makes it hard to pick up where you left off.
