For who though? We’re so depleted from injuries and bad pitchers that somehow Jose Cuas is back on the roster.

I’d give Porter Hodge a shot

The Pirates have not scored more than 5 runs in any game since April 14th.  Well until today that is.

They've averaged 2.1 runs per game over that 23 game stretch.

Will next off-season be the one where Jed realizes bullpen roulette with a bunch of castoffs isn't the way to go?

hopefully the next offseason won’t be a jed hoyer offseason

I watched this team sometimes unsure how we have the record we do.

23-17 or 24-16 record after tonight. That’s with a bunch of blown bullpen games (Alzolay has what, 5 blown saves?). Chief amongst them is losing from an 8-0 lead.

We are talking 5-6 extra wins and 5-6 fewer defeats or more. Such a frustrating thing to see. Jed needs to realise his job is to improve every aspect of the roster.

hard to rack up 5 LOB by the 7th inning when you enter the game in the 5th inning, but madrigal is a special player.

He's left 5 of the 11 😅

Damn Morel

Just realized the Cubs get the heart of the Braves rotation this week too

Lopez, Sale and Morton

This is an unreal run of starting pitchers we’re in the middle of facing.

Is a trade still a bad trade when it was equally bad for everyone involved?

Jed has gotten a lot more right than wrong, but turning the undisputed best reliever on the 2021 trade market into "slow infielder Juan Pierre but somehow a worse hitter" and a pitcher whose arm was apparently fastened together with shoelaces and a half broken zipper was a big miss

Any more Pirates pitchers out there willing to walk a half dozen batters without even coming close to throwing strikes?

I was really worried that Jed didn’t focus enough on the bullpen this offseason but I never in a million years thought it would have affected this many games this early in the season. Wild stuff
