first thing I noticed about the jersey's yesterday. My guess is they went small to try to make Crow-Armstrong fit better. Didn't work. When I pointed it out to my wife, she suggested they just do Crow-Armstrong all the way around the number. I guess that isn't much worse than a half circle.

Lettering is league wide on jerseys.

Would love to see Davis emerge. At this point no one is really counting on him to be anything so anything we get from him would be awesome.

I still like him if he can stay healthy.

Any chance if Davis has a really good ST and they dont add Bellinger he could get a chance to start opening day ?

Counsell told him he's 100% not making the team out of spring training. Which is good imo. Let him relax since his outcome for ST is known and focus on hitting.

Bellinger and Cubs

3 yrs 80 mil, opt out after first 2 years

Glad he's back, Hoyer won this standoff,  another short term deal with Cody likely opting out if he has another good season.

Just very surprised no other team would at least offer more years

Looks like no Busch in the lineup again. Is there something going on with him? I'm not that concerned but I figured he would be getting as many reps as possible at 1B prior to the season starting.

Busch dealing with arm problems according to Evan Altman

I'm not super knowledgeable about pitch mechanics ,  but I refuse to believe that Vazquez's arm stays attached if he throws 200 innings with the way his arm finishes.

The glove isn't the issue, it's the arm

It's not even the arm that's the issue. He's got a 60, maybe even a 70 grade arm -- blasted thing is a cannon.

Rather, his problem is the mechanics and accuracy. It's like having yips-era Chuck Knoblauch firing across the diamond.

Yeah, I should have been more specific. The tools are all there to be good, the throws just start going everywhere though.
