Going into today, the 2023 Cubs averaged 4.41 runs per game after scoring 10+ the game before.

Yea surprisingly to me their bats have been good this season,  hopefully they'll get a couple the second time through the order.

Hee Seop Choi catching a stray in a game thread in 2023.

Choi was a W because he got us D-Lee.

Morel practically came out of nowhere last season and has turned himself into a solid hitter with unexpected power...

He pretty much a perfect DH for them

Morel missed more than 40 games to start the season. The Cubs would probably have won at least one or two more games if the let him start the season.

Honestly baseball-reference claims Choi spent parts of five years in the majors and hit 40 career home runs. 10 of them for us.  I do not remember that at all, I thought he crashed out in like AA

I recall he spent some time with the Dodgers after the Marlins. My only real memory of Choi as a Cub was the collision on the in field when he hit the back of his head on the grass.

Kerry Wood KO’d him. I think I remember him having a good game against Clemons.

He even participated in a Home Run derby the only year they decided to have players representing different countries
