Cubs SP gonna be the key the rest of the way as the bats should be good enough to score runs most night, I personally don't have much confidence in the SP outside of Steele.  Not being able to go over the Threshold ( most likely) to add a SP and another LH for the pen will probably cost them the Division. 

Maybe or hopefully they'll get a boost in the rotation from bringing up one or two of the prospects and they'll pitch well enough to get them some Ws...

Going into today, the 2023 Cubs averaged 4.41 runs per game after scoring 10+ the game before.

I don't think we really have anyone near-ready who looks particularly promising in the immediate term, but I'm a notorious hater.  Most of our high-level pitching prospects are of the "this guy has a massive fatal flaw right now but boy if he put it together" variety, not ready to perform in the bigs tomorrow types.
