Hes been pretty bad since the London series/blister. Wonder what’s going on with him…contract stuff getting to him maybe? I mean he’s not a 2.28 ERA pitcher or whatever he was before this run but hes pitching like Taillon has most of this season.

I had mentioned at PSD before the break that maybe Hoyer should consider trading guys sooner rather then later to avoid  bad starts before the deadline.

Stroman value has been declining rapidly this month plus...

Well Stroman let them down when they needed him the most. Pretty bad for a while now . They need 3 of 4 now at the least in ST Louis and even 3 of 4 may not be enough for them not to sale .

Or maybe it hasn't. There is 10+ years of data on Marcus Stroman. Teams know he's not an ace but he's still a quality 2 and there's still plenty of interest in trading for him. 

 

Didn't you also infer we should have traded Bellinger early as well?

I'm convinced they do not trust his defense behind the plate yet... His metrics are not that great... Although they are almost exactly in line with what they get out of Gomes.
